Right wing writer is senile and unbelievably fucking ignorant
Posted in: 2008 Election, Right Wing Idiocy

The Washington Times has released a story this morning discussing how Barack Obama told the leaders of Iraq that George W. Bush’s plan to extend the stay of American troops in Iraq couldn’t happen without the approval of the United States Congress. Below is the thrust of the story:

At the same time the Bush administration was negotiating a still elusive agreement to keep the U.S. military in Iraq, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to convince Iraqi leaders in private conversations that the president shouldn’t be allowed to enact the deal without congressional approval.

Mr. Obama’s conversations with the Iraqi leaders, confirmed to The Washington Times by his campaign aides, began just two weeks after he clinched the Democratic presidential nomination in June and stirred controversy over the appropriateness of a White House candidate’s contacts with foreign governments while the sitting president is conducting a war.

The first thing is, HE’S RIGHT. Everything the President does with regards to fighting a war has to be done with the advice and consent of Congress. Just because Cheney and Bush believe in an imperial presidency, the unitary executive, all that monarchial bullshit which would make almost every founder but Hamilton freak out.

Now here’s the thing, in Paris in 1968, LBJ was close to bringing a relative slowdown and eventual halt to American military involvement in the Vietnam War. Among the people he had sent to negotiate the final details of all this was Henry Kissinger. What he didn’t know is that through future criminal John Mitchell, Kissinger was giving out private information regarding the progress of said talks. Eventually they were close enough to a final deal, and Kissinger reported this to Nixon. In response to these possible positive developments for the Humphrey campaign resulting from the peace that would result Henry Kissinger and Richard Nixon used Anna Chenault, a woman with ties to Chang Kai’shek’s military force, to convince the South Vietnamese that they should back out of the deal because under a Nixon Administration, South Vietnam would be better off.

The war lasted five more years, hundreds of thousands of innocent Vietnamese civilians died, almost half the population of Cambodia was killed by our bombardment of the country and subsequent destabilization of the government which led to Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge taking over the vacuum and commiting aforementioned genocide, and a host of other atrocities.

This article is written by a right wing lunatic whose condemnations of Obama for merely pointing out that Bush’s plan will not happen without Congressional approval doesn’t stand up to actual treachery committed by a non-chief executive in American foreign policy.

Palin’s response to protester was considered intelligent?
Posted in: 2008 Election, McCain-Palin Idiocy

At a rally recently Sarah Palin was being heckled by a protester, and she turned to him and said something to the effect of “My son is fighting in Iraq to protect your right to protest.” On Morning Joe this morning, the usual band of hookers who show up on the show were praising her response to the protester and talking about how this proves she’s more mentally capable than we give her credit for, which is completely and utterly ridiculous for several reasons.

1. Her son is fighting in Iraq to protect our right to protest? On what planet has our fight in Iraq been a defense of our constitutional protected rights? I don’t think even George W. Bush has used this line of reasoning for the war in Iraq. You don’t attack a sovereign nation, and then claim to be defending anything. It doesn’t work that way in reality or rhetorically. If I call Sarah Palin an idiot it’s not a defense of the intelligent members of society, I’m attacking her below mediocre intellect.

2. Only idiot rednecks have ever tried to conflate our invasion and occupation of Iraq with any noble defense our country has undertaken. The fight against Afghanistan can be described as a defensive war, though not even remotely one in defense of our constitutional rights. This isn’t the War of 1812, World War II, or the Revolutionary War.

Myth: Every American is Special
Posted in: 2008 Election, McCain-Palin Idiocy

One of the popular refrains one will hear about about Sarah Palin is that it’s nice for an average American to be in position now to achieve a significant level of power.

If the average American was exceptional compared to his or her global peers that would be one thing. However the average American compared to his or her global peers is just as mediocre as the rest of the world’s great unwashed.

Case in point, Sarah Palin’s response to the “fundamentals of the economy are strong” assertion by her senile principle on the ticket was the typical kiss the ass of the average American bullshit. She stated that he meant the workers, and American workers are the bestest most special people ever who make the bestest and most wonderfulest things in the world.

No, we really aren’t. The average IQ of this country is lower than many European nations, and considering 67% of this country resides within one standard deviation of the average, there’s nothing particularly impressive about our country. I wouldn’t go bragging about having an IQ between say 85 to 115.

Two questions: What impressive undertaking has this country done in the past five years? What stupid moves has this country supported in the last five years?

I’m willing to bet one can answer that question much more easily than one can answer the former. This isn’t shitting on America, but we need to stop being coddled by politicians who think that praising the inherent mediocrity that comes purely from the laws of nature is a good thing.

We currently have a candidate for the vice presidency who can’t name a Supreme Court ruling besides Roe v. Wade, who isn’t able to name a single periodical she reads, who considers the ability to see for a long distance a foreign policy qualification, who undertook a procedure to protect herself from witches, and the fact we have someone so intellectually mediocre only bothers about 50% of the population deeply.

Surprise, idiot filmmaker Spike Lee doesn’t know shit about WWII
Posted in: Historical Revisionism, WWII Revisionism

So after criticizing Clint Eastwood’s amazing film on the marines who lifted the flag (the second time) on Iwo Jima for not including blacks, even though nobody who lifted the second flag over Iwo Jima was fucking black, Spike Lee decided “I’m going to take a novel which was loosely based on the SS’s march through Italy, lie about the Italians who resisted the fascists, and insult everyone’s intelligence, because, well, I’m a race hustler asshole.”

Naturally, Italians aren’t too thrilled that the anti-fascist resistence isn’t painted well in Spike Lee’s idiot mind’s eye.

It is a story that underpins Italy’s postwar democracy: the honour lost under Benito Mussolini was regained through the struggle of the partisans and their help for the Allies. Now the partisans are fighting for their reputation after a new film by the director Spike Lee which, they say, insults the memory of the Italian Resistance during the Second World War.

Miracle at St Anna retells the story of the massacre of 560 civilians – including women and children – in August 1944 by SS troops as they retreated northwards in the face of the Allied advance.

The film, which highlights the role of African-American soldiers in the war, suggests that antiFascist partisans indirectly caused the atrocity by taking refuge in the village and then abandoning the residents to their fate.

Spike Lee is essentially a historical revisionist almost as bad as Ernst Zundel, Frederick Toben, the Institute for Historical Review, and David Irving. His Afro-centric worldview pollutes his already fucked up mind, and I guess he’s trying to become the most retarded member of the African American community, taking the mantle from Louis Farrakhan.

Here is part of Spike Lee’s ridiculous response:

He added that the film, which follows the fate of four black GIs, was intended “to restore the voice of black soldiers who fought in the war”. He said that “not all Italians” had admired the partisans, many of whom fled to the mountains and left civilians to face the Nazis. “I have not invented anything,” he declared.

IT. IS. BASED. ON. A. NOVEL. So yes, you invented a lot when putting a NOVEL on film. A novel isn’t truth. Idiot.

By the way, Spike Lee believes America bombed the levees during Katrina, that should give you an idea how utterly big a moron the son of a bitch is.

Sarah Palin’s answers in interviews are so retarded, it’s no shock they’re from her
Posted in: 2008 Election, McCain-Palin Idiocy

Listening to her answers in this interview with Katie Couric regarding the fact Alaska shares borders with Russia and Canada is like listening to John McCain discuss the economy, or Sean Hannity discuss… well anything beyond how to best swing from tree to tree when avoiding Africa’s predatory cats.

If you enjoy mental waterboarding, feel free to enjoy this clip:

Of course the media is in the tank for Obama and they’re not showing her eloquent and articulate answers on how to skin a moose, or the proper way to build an igloo when sled dog racing. Fucking Jew run liberal media.

Rhetorical bullshit - adj. description of anything Michelle Malkin engages in
Posted in: 2008 Election, Right Wing Idiocy

There may be no single “professional” blogger whose opinion on anything is more consistently wrong and intellectually dishonest as Michelle Malkin. Even the batshit crazy fascist supporting Atlas Shrugs honestly believes in her quest to, I’m assuming, become the new Ilse Koch. Michelle Malkin is clearly very upset at the people who hacked into Sarah Palin’s private e-mail address (which she was ILLEGALLY using for government business, but that’s irrelevant to the post at hand), and has several posts on her website saying so.

She is in a “blog war” with Nick Denton of Gawker Media, and said how awful Gawker is for posting screenshots and shit of the inbox and some other things in Ms. Palin’s e-mail. I agree wholeheartedly with her on this point. It’s absolutely nobody’s business what is being privately sent around by Governor Palin. To publicly disclose personal information and writings like that is the height of classlessness.

Which is why I agree with Nick Denton that Michelle Malkin is being a disingenuous bitch when it comes to this situation. She posted the contact information for several kids she disagreed with politically (she calls them militants, which goes to show how mentally ill Malkin is, they were simply protesting the establishment of more military shit on campus, big fucking deal), and of course her fanbase is so out of their minds, they contacted these kids and harassed them. She denies she did anything wrong because their information was already out in the public, but she knew what was going to happen once she posted it.

Michelle Malkin is the worst kind of individual in the world. The one who engages in and supports hideous actions, thinks it’s okay to condone things any person with a moral compass would feel repulsive, but should the situation reverse itself, and the actions she regularly engages in be used against individuals she supports or herself, well then, that’s horrible! Basically call an entire country a den of criminals, as she pretty much does whenever she talks about Mexico. That’s okay. Mock Michelle Malkin because she looks like the Asian bitch in Priscilla Queen of the Desert who does the ping pong ball trick. EVIL LIBERALS!

Lie about Barack Obama’s position on sexual education in schools. Fine if you’re a Republican. Accurately point out John McCain is lying about the issue. Well, Barack Obama is being a thug. John Edwards cheating on his wife with cancer was a disgusting thing to do, and I agree with her on that. No condemnation of John McCain cheating on his first wife while she was paralyzed.

This woman is certifiable and needs massive amounts of therapy or something to correct whatever sickness has creeped into her utterly warped skull.

Oh, the Obama campaign apparently is required to denounce all bad things anyone ever does ever to someone the fanatical right supports. Even though he had nothing to do with it in any capacity, it’s his obligation to denounce people he doesn’t know and will never meet. But it’s not John McCain’s job to denounce idiots who call Barack Obama is Kenyan born Muslim traitor…

Barack “unfairly” attacks McCain’s poor choice of words when describing the strength of the economy, says his airhead runningmate
Posted in: 2008 Election, McCain-Palin Idiocy

I got through roughly 35 seconds of the Sean Hannity and Sarah Palin interview before I simply couldn’t take anymore (watched it via YouTube). I decided after he introduced himself to her I should skip around because, quite frankly, the two of them sharing pleasantries is less appealing a sight than the inside of a mosque is to me.

Anyway, Sean Hannity brought up Barack Obama criticizing John McCain for McCain’s wildly stupid statement that the fundamentals of the economy are strong. In the process he mispronounces Lehman Brothers (Sean, it’s pronounced Layman, not Leeman). Anyway, in an effort to show she is just as inappropriate an individual to have any control over national economic policy, she repeated the absolutely ridiculous line that McCain meant that the funamentals of the economy is refering to the workers. Bullshit.

I won’t go into the basics of economic theory too in depth, but the fundamentals of ANY economy, be it capitalism or communism, is more than simply the workforce. But even IF Palin or McCain had any idea what the fuck they were talking about, they’d still be wrong. The laborforce in this country isn’t doing too strongly right now. Unemployment is above 6%, the labor-force is seeing foreclosures rising at an incredible rate, companies like Starbucks and HP are throwing away employees left and right, and the purchasing power of the wages of the middle and lower classes is at its worst point in years.

Exactly how is the workforce doing strongly? Fundamentally they’re doing pretty poorly, and unlike the corporate swine in charge of AIG, Lehman, etc. they’re not going to be bailed out by the federal government or other corporate criminals. Of course Sarah Palin is too busy proving she’s got the intelligence of a severely inbred pitbull to actually take notice of this.

Possible the Stupidest McCain-Obama Survey Question Ever
Posted in: 2008 Election

I was looking at Crooks and Liars.com, and one of the advertisements from I guess some survey group called Soda Head had this advertisement (I had to take a screenshot because it’s just so fucking priceless):

That question was answered over 25 years ago. McCain cheated on his wife with Cindy McCain while his wife was severely injured as a result of a car accident. There have been many questions about Barack Obama, from the ludicrously dumb “Is Barack Obama a Kenyan-born Muslim?” to the slightly less stupid “Does Barack Obama endorse some of the radical ideas preached by Reverand Jeremiah Wright?” but I have never seen anyone claim Barack Obama is an adulterer.

Shithead Muslim Creationist Get Dawkins’s Website Banned in Turkey
Posted in: Creationism, Islam

Turkey recently elected an Islamic fundamentalist party to essentially control of the country’s legislature. Seeing that religious zealouts are becoming even more politically viable than they already were in that backwards country (it’s the ONLY country whose population is more opposed to the idea of evolution than our’s in the “western” world), retard Muslim creationist Adnan Oktar has managed to get the courts to ban users of the Internet in Turkey from accessing Richard Dawkins’s website. This after the inbred dipshit tried to have Dawkins’s book banned in Turkey because it “insults” religion.

Turkish internet users have been blocked via a court order from accessing the site of prominent British biologist Richard Dawkins after complaints from lawyers for Islamic creationist author Adnan Oktar, the website of Turkish television station NTV reported on Wednesday.

A court in Istanbul ordered that Turk Telekom block access to the site and since the weekend Turkish internet users seeking the site have been redirected to a page that says in Turkish ‘access to this site has been suspended in accordance with a court decision’.

NTV reported that Oktar complained he and his creationist book ‘Atlas of Creation’ had been defamed by comments made by Dawkins on the site.

‘I am at a loss to reconcile the expensive and glossy production values of this book with the breathtaking inanity of the content,’ Dawkins, a distinguished advocate of the theory of evolution, wrote on his website in July referring to the Atlas of Creation.

The book has caused controversy not just through its advocation of creationism but also through how thousands of copies of book were distributed to schools in a number of European countries.

Oktar has used the Turkish courts on a number of occasions, the latest being earlier this year when he attempted to have Dawkins’ book The God Delusion banned in Turkey on the basis that it was insulting religion but a Turkish court threw the case out.

In August 2007, Oktar, who writes under the pen name Harun Yahya, convinced a Turkish court to block access to millions of web blogs using the Wordpress.com hosting service after finding that a number of blogs carried libellous comments.

Islam is a religion of peace. That is if it’s completely isolated from science, culture, progress, thought, freedom, intelligence, … shit, anything that has occurred since the ninth century. Does this guy have anything better to do than try to get everything he doesn’t like banned? Actually… considering his hardcore belief in the most fucked up religion in the world, maybe it’s for the best he’s wasting the time of the Turkish courts and not putting his energies towards anything productive. When fundamentalist Muslims decide to be more active on the world scene, innocent people always seem to get murdered.

By the way, fair criticism and mockery isn’t libel. Here’s the difference:

“I am at a loss to reconcile the expensive and glossy production values of this book with the breathtaking inanity of the content.” is a fair criticism mocking the content of the book.

When I say “Adnan Oktar chews foreskin like gum because he is a vile pedophile” could be libelous, because there’s no conclusive evidence he’s a pedophile besides his devout worship of the murderous pedophile Mohammed.

Sarah Palin couldn’t have been happier to address party that publicly endorses neo-Confederacy groups
Posted in: 2008 Election, McCain-Palin Idiocy

America is a great country for a variety of reasons. Unlike Europe, the extreme right wing neo-fascist/neo-confederate groups are very isolated and unable to ever achieve any sort of real political power. Parties like Vlaams Belang, British National Party, or the Greater Romania Party have absolutely no influence. However, with the nomination of Sarah Palin as the Republican Party’s VP candidate, America has its first major nominee in a long time with direct ties to groups supportive of neo-confederate ideals.

That Sarah Palin’s husband used to be a member of the secessionist Alaskan Independence Party (the AIP claims he wasn’t an active member) is widely known. What hasn’t been as widely known is the AIP’s seemingly proud support of groups and parties with beliefs of the secessionist Democrats from 140+ years ago.

So here’s a short story: I was browsing the Alaskan Independence Party’s website, I decided to take a look at the groups they link to. Particularly which, if any, similarly insane groups like theirs exists in North Carolina. There are two groups similar to the Alaskan Independence Party, the Southern Party of North Carolina, and the North Carolina American Republic.

Here is some of the North Carolina American Republic’s “Declaration of Re-establishment of the North Carolina American Republic” :

We, the Inhabitants of North-Carolina, do hereby of Right, Duty, and Necessity, re-establish the North-Carolina American Republic in alignment with Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution of the United States of America.

Our written history has instructed us that it is our Duty and our Right to cast off the chains of bondage to any foreign occupation of our Sovereign state. The Federal United States Government has occupied North-Carolina in excess of 130 years. This federal experiment of oppressive military dominance over North-Carolina and her Inhabitants began with the unlawful subjugation of North-Carolina through the forced adoption of a new State Constitution of 1868, and has proven to the Nation that a government established in deception and military subjugation is destined to fail.

We derive our Rights from Almighty God, and do declare we have a Right to self-determination and a Right not to follow others down a path of self-destruction and servitude. We of Right, hereby declare our intention to correct this path of self-destruction rooted in deception, setting a peaceful example for others to follow.

We, the Inhabitants of North-Carolina, know it is our Duty and our Right to re-establish North-Carolina and to set an example for the Nation to witness the re-establishment of a Republic of free sovereign people, peacefully, openly, and without violence in a manner never before seen in history. Caution must be noted I History has shown us that governments long established do not relinquish power and control over people lightly, easily, or without bloodshed. We, therefore, extend an open hand to the Federal United States Government to join us in peaceful cooperation for the re-alignment of the proper and constitutional roles in the relationship of the Federal Government to the government of the Several Sovereign Republican states.

The Inhabitants of North-Carolina, in order to assure a fresh start, hereby rescind the ordinance to dissolve the Union of states dated May 20, 1861, and declare it null and void. We also solemnly pledge and declare peace with the Federal United States Government and its lesser governments, which honor this re-establishment, from this day forward.

It goes on and on and on. On the website there is an article describing how the 14th Amendment to the Constitution is… unconstitutional. If you can figure out how something in the Constitution is unconstitutional. The 14th Amendment granted everyone born in this country citizenship, including ohmygosh black people. Pat Buchanan supports rescinding the 14th Amendment, so you can see how lunatic these people are.

The Southern Party of North Carolina is brazenly supportive of the confederacy, and these traitors want the entire south to secede. And the Alaskan Independence Party supports these people, and Sarah Palin’s husband was a member of this group (regardless of how active he was, he’d not have joined if their ideology didn’t appeal to him somewhat). Why isn’t the fact her husband supports neo-fascism/confederatism a bigger story?

How would the right react if Barack Obama was slightly attached to an individual or group who said anything even mildly comparable to what the NC American Republic supports?
